Another sign at Stonepit

Beyond the new gates at Stonepit reservoir is a recently-erected sign, warning of a weak bridge. You can see the bridge on this picture from July. I suppose it is an essential warning but it does seem to spoil the view. Then again, the reservoir is there for the benefit of the anglers when it re-opens, not for mere sightseers.

Unfortunately, signs are another blight on the natural beauty of our countries, aren't they?

The sign isn't very specific is it?
Is it too weak for a person, an elephant, a car, a lorry??

Capturing it through the square hole in the gate made for an interesting photo though.
