Clark Way Bridge over M67

I recently showed you the view looking East from the footbridge over the M67 near Morrisons.

Look West and we see the bridge which is the start of Clark Way, coming off Fernally Street.

In the distance are two footbridges, either side of the bus station and then another road bridge which is the other end of Clark Way just before the Red Lion.

What is the population of Hyde, Gerald? Just wondering. . . .

We have a few footbridges in the Nashville area, but none too close to our house.

I really do like those lamps on the highway and the perspective. Another interesting road scene without much traffic. I wonder how this looks at the morning or evening rush.

Hello, Im back and posting again.
Squirrel says "like the street lights", not me, I feel we have everything lit up too much, how many people in Lancashire have seen the Milky Way from a dark sky, the lights cause the light polution that astronomers like us hate.

Not the nicest of places to take a picture from Gerald... one or two muggings have gone on just about here. As this foot bridge bends you are hidden from view and 'Scally's' know this. You take care in such places.

Gerald (re: your petrol price comment), yes, you folks have it far worse than we Americans do when it comes to gas prices. But at least more in GB and EU ride scooters than here, where everyone is in love with and feels entitled to their SUV. If more folks knew how much fun they were missing I suspect they would move to 2 wheels. I ride one of my scooters far more than I drive my car. At 75-85 mpg having fun getting there simply makes cents! And it also makes sense -:)
