Last week I showed you
Booth's Well which is the main one featured in the
Gee Cross Well Dressing ceremonies.
Village Green Well, is dressed by the
Guides, Brownies and Rainbows of Holy Trinity Church and Hyde Chapel. Last year their theme was
Community. This year they featured
Seven Springs, the summer camp, they were earlier raising money for with a
charity stall on Hyde Market.

I must make the time to view these next year, why I've never done so is beyond me. Thanks for getting my interest started in these Gereld.
Quite colorful...
Btw - I like your new avatar - very handsome!
I hated camping in the guides, still do, but even so I spent many a happy(!) day at Seven Springs - I was in the Brownies and Guides at 1st Gee Cross and the guider for several years at 2nd Gee Cross - we had a little hut on Silverhill Road, which I believe is still there - picture one day possibly Gerald?
