Shadows over a bridge
Last week I showed you a bridge over Gower Hey Brook and the steps that lead to King George Road.
I went back there last week, crossed the bridge, climbed a few steps and took this looking down on the bridge with the sun casting the shadows of trees across it.
For the original wider and coloured version see Geograph.

This is beautiful!
such beautiful shadows, entwined with the landscape!
Lovely, soft shadows and, yes, so much a part of the landscape! Hope you have a great weekend!

Nice soft image today... I like it.
it's nice to enjoy these types of shadows this time of year. soon, the trees will be covered with leaves and this will be an entirely different picture. lovely!
I like seeing the color version too, and I'm not sure which I prefer. It's interesting to see the black and white conversion and I like it very much. the shadows are beautiful. happy SSS, and I hope your weekend is grand.
A beautiful little sanctuary of light and shadow! Very peaceful!
May it lead you to nothing but happiness.
Please have a good Sunday.

Looks like spring is on its way soon! Lovely dark shadows.
Eerie in a way, artistic in another way. Enjoyable in EVERY way.

Have a glorious Sunday!! Stop by to visit if you can find time. Your company is always welcomed.
No side rails, so one must be surefooted to cross this bridge!
SHADOW SINGER
Of shadows an old man did sing;
He chanted in Guelph and Beijing;
The shade was his friend,
He loved it no end—
It made him feel rich as a king!

Real nice shot Gerald.
Beautiful Shadow Shot. I like both versions of the picture. The colored one shows the green moss on the tree, but the black and white version gives the shadows a soft touch. Thanks for sharing!!
I love it. So bright.
Excellent, Gerald - this subject works very well in monochrome.
«Louis» thanks you for your contribution to Sundary Bridges.
Such a lovely photo of the bridge, shadows, and the outdoors--looks great in B&W too. Mickie
