The Lamb Inn is just down Stockport Road from the
Cheshire Cheese but on the opposite side.
It didn't look much different when I posted a photograph of it
in 2008, but it looked very different
a century ago.

This is because the original inn was demolished about half a century ago and a new building erected higher up the road.
The old inn stood on what is now the car park.

Cheese, lamb, I'm getting hungry.
Lovely old building, and I really do like the flower boxes.
Cheers,
