Cheshire Cheese, Gee Cross, 2010

This is the Cheshire Cheese on Stockport Road in Gee Cross.

It is not to be confused with the Cheshire Cheese in Newton, nor the Cheshire Cheese in Broadbottom, featured today on Hyde DP Xtra.

See how it looked in 1982 and much earlier on Old Hyde.

Have to agree with Leo, it does look rather like a giant cake! Great architecture! Hope your week is going well!

Flowers in every window box. The Flag of England aloft in the breeze. I must come for a visit.

Leo, I think we've all gotten that power of suggestion thing. Cheesecake, then cheese...

Cheese in 3 places! Eek! I'm in heaven. That building looks so inviting too.

I thought it was a cheese shop, until I noticed your tags. Very pretty pub, especially because of the blooming plant boxes.

I agree with Leo. The building itself looks like a big cheese cake!
Great C-word! Makes me hungry though.
Best wishes,
