Lamb Inn
The Lamb Inn is on Stockport Road in Gee Cross.
I haven't been to see, but I suspect by now the hanging baskets may have been replaced by Christmas decorations.
It certainly looked very different a century ago as seen in this photograph on Old Hyde.

It looks very different! I don't see the arched doorway in the modern version.
That Inn looks very cozy indeed.... but i love the name LAMB INN....any special reasons for the name ????
Beautiful old brick building. It certainly does look different from the old photo.
I love that building.
It has a warm atmosphere.
seems very cosy
Lovely brick building.... there is so much of character in the architecture.
Even the modern version looks very dated!!!
very very picturesque
This looks like a nice place to stay. I love the name!
Here, in the US, one day after Thanksgiving is the magic point when Christmas decorations appear ... Really like your links to OldHyde photos showing the same buildings.
Thanks for your comment on my blog :) I used to drink in this pub a few years ago when I was at 6th form, happy memories :)
People there must be proud because it`s so cool to see a centenary building so preserved! Cezar and Léia :-)
Is Lamb their specialty on the menu? :-)
