Now there are only two. I reported last September that the one on Market Street was for sale.
It has recently reopened as the Cheshire Grill.

This was my local at one time Gerald... It was then run by Val and Jim Cuthbert.... Val ended up as one of Dr. Shipmans victims.. Another of my good friends kept it for a while, John Lewis.. one of Hydes best loved sons. It will always have a place in my heart and on my head..... thats because of a tattoo I have on my head is to do with this ex Boddingtons pub.
«Louis» hopes the new Cheshire Grill prospers. It's a bit of a downer, even from this distance, to see your occasional reports of businesses that have closed in your area.
