Last week I showed you
Dunkirk Bridge over the Peak Forest Canal.
Just to the North along the towpath I found these fishermen. Before anyone asks, these are not the natural colours; I've aged the image to resemble an old newspaper print. You can view the scene in its natural colour on
Geograph.
A little further North is Warble Wharf which you can view on
Hyde DP Xtra.

Hi I took a shot of a chap fishing on the other side of the bride last week Gerald... the chap standing up looks to none to pleased..
I like this hue, Gerald.
Even though I know nothing about fishing, would love to go and spend some hours enjoying this peace...thank you for that thought after an 18 hour long day.
I like the treatment you've given this. It comes across exactly the way you wnated it to, very old-timey. Nice!
the treatment given to the picture makes it charming...
I like what you have done with this picture. I feel like I am looking into the past. I hope they caught some fish!
Great shot and interesting colors
