Dunkirk Bridge
Walk down Dunkirk Lane from Newton Hall past the Starchaser Rocket and you reach this bridge over the Peak Forest Canal.
Beyond the bridge lies Dunkirk Farm.
You can see the view Northwards from the bridge on my photoblog sithenah.
For the Southbound view see Hyde DP Xtra.

After having seen the view it was nice to see this bridge. Is it named after a certain French town?
This bridge looks very solid!
Is Dunkirk Farm livelier now?
God bless you!

The grass and trees weren't that colour last time I went along the canal. Has there been a chemical leak from a nearby factory?
This - I like Gerald, its a wonderful bridge.
We've got a Dunkirk here. Not very exciting though as it's where most of the scrap yards are.
Hi Gerald... I'm sat here now writing this and then I'm going to walk down to Hyde Mill, Then down Johnson Brook road and over to the canal bridge at Globe lane.. I will be walking back into Hyde and going under this bridge...
I think the way you have displayed this makes it look much better than it is...
Hope all is well my Friend
Tom
Are these natural colors or did you fiddle about? Lovely photo either way.
Nice colour effect in this shot!
