Path from Osborne Road

In August 2007 I discovered the path to Gower Hey Woods from Osborne Road.

This view is the opposite of that earlier one, looking back towards Osborne Road.

The wall lower down has grown a lot more moss over the past two years.

The top photo is a picture of serenity! The bottom is a little creepy, tho.

I love the top photo Gerald. The autumnal colours are beautiful, and the cobbles and stone walls are a really interesting combination. How much work must have gone into laying all that stone. Used to play in Gower Hey Wood as a child. Thanks for the memories yet again!

I love your color treatment of the first photo and the moss of the second!

I've spent hours and hours playing in those woods and on the train lines that used to be. I have seen an old picture of a farm in the woods as well Gerald.. but I certainly don't remember it... or ever coming across any sign of it.

Have to admit whatever you've done to the top shot I like it. Great to read Tom's childhood memories too, again to set scenes.

Ahh moss-y rocks, one of my favourite things! Beautiful photographs, this walk seems so peaceful.
