Laurel Bank

Built in 1889 as Enfield Street School, this building on the corner of Knott Lane is now a residential care home.

Some weeks ago I showed you a slightly more distant view.

Magnificent building and looks well maintained.

Maybe the ones who attended the school in the old day are now under residential care?

Nice shot of this sturdy old building. I love to see places like this preserved and repurposed rather than simply torn down and replaced.
