Hyde Daily Photo on the move

Some of you may know that Gerald has been moving house lately. I can report that the move has been successful - with one exception: His phone is up but his Internet-connection is still down. However, he hopes that this will be remedied soon, and that he will be back on-line in the near future.

In the meantime you can enjoy this old stone pathway that leads up from the River Tame to the Peak Forest Canal, voted his best photo in 2008 by his loyal readers.

This is a great cobbled pathway and was once very well used by the mill worker. I have walked it many a time and I am always struck by how it looks. After a rainfall the cobbles colour up beautifully, but be warn they are slippy when the leaves start to fall.

Good luck to Gerald, he is moving to a nice place and when the internet is up and running I'm sure he will show us all.

I am happy to view this again. It is a knockout image. RuneE you are a star for caretaking. Gerald hope the move went well apart from the net and look forward to virtually nosing round your new gaff.
