A whole swaithe of houses on the Hattersley Estate have been demolished. These are the last to be left on Chain Bar Lane.
Just up the road near the end of the M67, there is already a McDonalds. What will be re-developed here remains to be seen.

a Lidl, or perhaps another Tesco...
They don't look very old, either. Ah well, can't have people's homes standing in the way of developers' profits, can we?
The only occupied house in this row of 5 or 6 houses is second in from the right hand end and sitting behind the conifer.
The developers having demolished the other houses and removed all the debris to we know not where, have now commenced importing masses of other rubble which they are currently dumping some 50 meters behind this remaining row.
Where will it end?
i lived in one of these garden sheds and was pleased as punch when i was moved out into a house. unfortunately the one remaining family who own their home didn't feel the same. hope all goes well for them.
