Skywatch: Hyde Chapel
Two weeks ago there was a Beatrix Potter Exhibition at Hyde Chapel.
Andrew Parker led us on a tour of the grounds, and pointing my camera to the sky, I captured this image.
Another skywatch view from the same afternoon is on Ackworth born, gone West

great steeple!
My Sky Watch Friday posts
Very interesting shot of the Chapel, thanks for sharing.
Like the church pointing up to those clouds, Gerald. I think this is going to be the best Sky Watch Friday yet. The things I have seen are very encouraging and the photography is spot on.
I really admire your photography skills and your critical eye for composition, lighting and texture.

Lovely. The steeple and its shadow seem ready to swallow the clouds!
Just a quick visit to say thank you for joining in with Sky Watch.

I like this, sharp contrast and colors. Happy skywatch!
Great sky watch and have a nice weekend!!!!!!!!
Those colors are so vibrant and that angle is wonderful. It certainly accentuates the point of that steeple!
I love the blue and white cloudy sky. The church steeple pops out from this background. Nice photo for Sky Watch.
This is an awesome shot!
Love the steeple reaching for the clouds
Beatrix Potter I love Beatrix Potter. I love the perspective of this photo as well. Very nicely done.
Pretty sky. I like the shadow of the steeple on the roof and the steeple itself against the sky.
Fun addition to Sky Watch Friday, the play of light and shadows is interesting, thanks for sharing your view of the world.
Great shot of an imposing church - and a lovely 'cottontail' cloud that Ms Potter would have been proud of!!

another awesome sky photo!
the shadow of the steeple really adds drama here! perfect sky too--is it nice and warm for you now, summer weather?
Hello! I'm again here. I try to make my blog daily... During the summer holydays. And to look at the blogs of the others city daily.
Beautiful little chapell. We have also many. I saw a seamen chapell on the coast of the Channel at the west of our region. I'll try to find again where it is. (In the North, we have the North Sea).
Very perculiar shot. The shadow is wonderful and the overall shot strangely interesting.

Yeah, this is a shot you could look at again and again. There's something about it that ...well, this one should be framed and inside the church office or someplace!
the cloud looks like it's kissing the steeple.
Beautiful, beautiful shot Gerald. Hope you are well.
