Newton for Hyde
Newton (for Hyde) station lies between Flowery Field and Godley.
Judging by the looks of this building it is probably the oldest of Hyde's stations and would once have looked extremely elegant.

For some reason, this photo made
me think of an old English B&W movie, where these two married people meet at the station coffee shop and consider having an affair, but do not go through with it...Now, I won't be able to sleep, thinking about the title...Please, someone help me!
it looks more like an old house. hmm interesting that it is a station. :-)
You are certainly well served for stations in Hyde.
Did you give money to Dr Beeching?
Yes, Gerald.....the elegance of those old stations!!! Things to be proud of.
