Art-deco roof
This building across the road from Frilly Milly's is currently a small superstore selling discounted goods.
Previously it was quite a thriving two-storey indoor market with lots of different stalls and a well-loved cafe. Now there is retailing only on the ground floor.
Originally it was the Hippodrome Cinema.

Good eye, Lavender Lady!
I concentrated on reading the traces of the old sign, suppose it was Super Market?
Interesting architecture...Suppose you miss the cafe, too?
Art Deco was the style of architecture in the twenties and thirties when many theatres were built.
Oliver, being a new town built at that time, has lots of Art Deco facades including our theater, I will post a pic of that.
