Warning sign

This warning sign appears outside Ewen Field football stadium.

Abuse, both on and off the field, is being taken very seriously in English football these days. One has to wonder though how many offenders actually read, let alone heed, warning signs such as these.

The people you are talking about, probably climb over the barb wire fence to avoid paying.

Ah, but it's a step in the right direction. I'm tired of being surrounded by hooligans at athletic matches.

One wonders if the offenders can actually read.....
(Tongue in cheek, sure, but the levels of functional illiteracy in UK society appear to validate the question)

Would that include the footballers too?

'If found using same'.
No one would actually say that. Where do these sign writiers learn their special version of the language?

I like football (I assume you are talking about soccer) and watch it on our television. I am somewhat amazed that some of these tackles do not erupt into violence instead of the people just walking away. The players seem to have a great tolerance for rough play. I am new to soccer and have only watched it for about one year but if those kinds of things happened in this country there would be mayhem on and off the fields. Maybe the sign does help.

Nice picture - I like the colours and composition.

that is quite amazing to me because it is a rule that would certainly be neglected...

I can't even imagine finding a sign like this in the US. Even if everyone ignores it, I think it's fabulous!
