Markland Street consists of two halves. The top half, overlooking Swains Valley Allotments, leads off the end of Haughton Street and ends above the old railway embankment.
The other half leads off Dowson Road.
The two sections are cut off by some garages here reflected in a deep puddle.
This time last year the ground was covered in snow.

cheers from Uruguay :)
Excellent reflection, it makes the puddle look like it has great depth.
Good shot of the puddle. Will the council be filling it in anytime soon?
Very cool reflection! Before reading the title, I thought it was a canal. Well done!
I love these kind of shots. The depth of view achieved in half an inch of water is miraculous.
Wow, this reflection carries a story (would be great for a book cover:) )
I like the natural aspect of black and white on this shot... It look kind of mysterious...
I love reflections in puddles :-)
