These scarecrows were to be seen recently in the stable block at the
Etherow Centre.
The scarecrow competition is now an annual event organised by the Broadbottom Community Association. You can see all of the 2010 entries on the
Broadbottom Village website.

Those all seemed rather clever. I know competition is nerve-wracking to many people, but it challenges us to excel and exceed even our own expectations. Even a silly thing like dressing up hay and sticks.
Great Scarecrows. A few weeks ago we drove through Mount Tamborine and it was their annual Scarecrow Comp. I believe Tom at Wiggers World is a great fan of Scarecrows. I wonder if he and Jane went?
That must have some interesting entries. Would be fun to see.
