Which Way to Walk?
This signpost, similar to many others in the borough, is on the corner of the Market.
I've not really noticed it before but it seems to be somewhat outdated.
One finger points to "Superstore" and obviously refers to Morrisions. There is however another superstore, Asda, in the opposite direction and only half the distance.
That of course is an omission rather than an error.
Another finger points to the Police Station, but the old station on Onward Street past the Town Hall was demolished years ago. The new one is on Clarendon Road, past the bus station and a good ten to fifteen minutes walk away.

Nice shot and a cool looking sign. Although it does seem confusing.
You might ask for directions at the Police station/Library :-)
New York City is far worse. Imagine my surprise when I was driving a semi truck on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. My truck was 13-feet, 6-inches tall. Every underpass was marked 12'6" and had the message "All trucks over 12'6" must exit." Of course, the bridges had been raised, but the signs hadn't been changed.
At least there are directions avaiable. Please have a nice Wednesday.
daily athens
but such nice signs, even if not entirely accurate

Which way, indeed! No wonder we need GPS help. :) Good post.
It seems your sign could be a real challenge for getting where you want to go. I do like the looks of it though.
Update needed! Nice shot and very nice informations. If you need a direction, please ask Gerald ;)
love this kind of signposts.

Happy Wednesday!
A newcomer would certainly be confused!
Real confuse *O*
This is a great signpost. We only a few like that around these parts. I do love all the directions one can go.
