Six Day Walk (2): Woodend Lane from Gower Bank
This is the second post of some photographs of a walk I took some weeks ago. I'm sharing this walk with you over six days.
Yesterday we climbed down the steps from Woodend Lane and I hope you carefully stepped over the cats at the bottom.
Church Brow curves back from the bottom of the steps up to Woodend Lane. We cross the valley of the Gower Hey Brook to the bottom of Gower Road.
Our track continues on the other side of valley. This is the view from there over the trees to the houses on Woodend Lane.
To see how it looked a hundred years ago visit Old Hyde.
You can see the view in the opposite direction on Hyde DP Xtra.
Come back tomorrow for the next step in our walk.

I'm silly to ask but... where's the lane? Anyway, very interesting shot! It has a special atmosphere!
God bless you!

What a joy to see so much green.
Please have a nice Thursday.

I also like that green area. Wonderful shot and a genial walk.
I'm impressed by how the cultivation was allowed to give way to some woodland. The same has happened in New England over the past 100 years.
Looks like a nice walk!
Thank you for the information on computers and programs. I'm compiling it all and then I'll go investigate/shop.
