Pole Bank Garden
When I visited Pole Bank several weeks ago to look at the Pool Renovations I also took this photograph of the sunken garden.

I love walled gardens -- I've always wanted one.
Another kind of pole than mine, but all the better for that :-)
Love all the shades of green!
I love walled gardens, too! What a lovely place and what a great capture! Enjoy your week!

Beautiful variation of greens, - a lovely peaceful spot.
Very inviting and peaceful-looking.
Sunken gardens are so special, magical. The pine tree in the distant right is fascinating - looks like something happened to it.
very nice scene.

It's a beautiful garden indeed. I like the strong green of the turf and the trees.
Beautiful Garden !!Simply fantastic !!Amazing !!
I wonder why the garden is sunken? Do they put plants which need more shade and water in there?
On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week! :)

I love the picture. Thanks for sahring happy ABC wednesday!
Formal gardens are so lovely. Nice perspective shot.
A sunken garden! Don't know how long it is since I've seen one of these. My father put a small one in our back garden and I must say he did a very good job. But we only enjoyed it for a few years before we moved.
