Primulas and Palm Trees
This bed of primulas and palm trees is under the end of the multi-storey car park on Clarendon Street.
I hadn't noticed the palm trees here before but you can see them if you enlarge the photograph I posted in February 2007 so unlike the flowers they are not new.
A wider view can be seen on Hyde DP Xtra.

Hi Gerald, congratulations on your four years of Hyde Daily Photo. Absolutely love your site. I have many happy memories of the multi storey car park, used to play in it as a kid then used to park in it as an adult doing the shopping! Not the most visually appealing building in the world, but I think that Hyde's town planners lost the plot with their archetecture in the 1960's if you think of all the civic building that took place then. Drab concrete boxes usually.
Those palm trees are pretty! They look a little bit like what we call palmettos here.
