Spring Equinox
Saturday was officially the first day of Spring.
It rained solidly all day.
This is Grange Road South taken with my camera-phone while I stood waiting for the bus home.
See the view in the opposite direction on Hyde DP Xtra.

Sunday March 21st made a much better first day of spring. Daffodils were blooming.
Sorry that your first day of Spring was so rainy and gloomy. But look on the bright side. The rain will help the flowers bloom and the countryside turn green.
Rain - liquide sunshine.
The good news is that everything will start the spring season freshly washed.
Wish you more sunny days soon. Nice rainy day photo though...I like the curve in the road. And I do hope that all those cars don't get parking tickets for parking on the wrong side of the road ;).
Well, your cell phone takes a pretty good picture, ours doesn't.
Sorry for your rain, and we don't mean to rub it in -but we had the most beautiful warm day on the 20th. - it's about time!
Darryl and Ruth : )
Why that looks like our rain :)
