Looking up Hamnett Street from the side of the Sorting Office towards the Abbey.
The cleared snow has been piled up on the edge of the pavement, obscuring the double-yellow lines denoting "no parking". I wonder where the traffic wardens were.

What a huge contrast to the streets of Athens.
Please have a wonderful weekend.
I used to manage what was then the Royal Albert on the corner of Hamnett Street so this is a view I know well Gerald.. and the stone buildings at the top right of the picture were once rented by my grandfather who was a tailor... he lost a leg in the 1WW.. and was trained up as a tailor by a jewish man from Manchester.. my mother lived there for many years.
Sippery slippery...
God bless you!

You still have snow mounds. I think your traffic wardens may actually be here. We seem to be breeding them in Tesco's car park.
