
This is the Trans Pennine Trail last Saturday. I have, of course, done some post processing. One might think it was an ancient track but orginally it was Godley to Apethorn railway with steam trains carrying coal from the Yorkshire coalfields to Fiddlers Ferry power station near Warrington.

I love both versions!
Remember still the soaking sound shoes made while walking upon such a path back home in Germany - something I do dearly miss over here in Greece.
