Across the road from Morrison's supermarket on Mottram Road is Flannagan's of Hyde.
Originally it was the Moulders Arms as I was informed when I posted a photograph of the side of the pub on John Shepley Street in January 2007.

I love the blue color of that car!
Not a pub I've spent much time in Gerald... I do prefer the old trade name...
It was also the pub that Manchester City fans would gather in before and after matches... and did have a sign up at the front at one time declaring 'Manchester City Supporters Club' as I lean more towards the red side of Manchester when it comes to football... maybe that is why I did not spend much time there.. ha!
I like it when someone knows a little more than I and tells me (nicely, of course) about a photo I've posted.
Ah.. an Irish pub is always a good place for a drink or two - I give you an Irish toast -
