Just West of Hyde the Peak Forest Canal goes under the M67. There are lights along the tunnel and last time I took that route, nearly all the lights had huge spider's webs attached.

i have similar festoons on my twinkle lights...though i blush to confess they're hanging in the kitchen, not under the motorway
I hate walking under here Gerald... not a fan of of eight legged friends at all.. ha! I have to get Jane to remove them from the bath room.
Fascinating! I would hate to accidently get caught in one of those webs though. I hate spiders!
The light makes for a great photo.
