Canal under the M67
Here is the Peak Forest Canal, yet again and the M67 motorway, yet again.
Both feature regularly here and today's photograph (which wasn't taken recently) shows the canal flowing Northwards and passing under the motorway.

Green grass and leaves on the trees remind us that it's not always winter...even though winter seems to be dragging on and on.
This might sound strange but I do mss a good canal walk. Canal embankments have suffered a bad reputation in recent years, not from me. Reminds me of my youth looking for tadpoles.
Last December this kind of canal was flooding in Joinville ( South Brazil). This is a problem for people that use to drive on highways because floods are frequent in this part of Brazil.

Hi Gerald
I am on the Leeds/Liverpool canal at this end quite often. I call in at friends in Saltaire to get bread which she saves for the ducks, then I stroll down to the canal in search of the local ducks/swans.
