These street name signs on Henry Street are at the corner of
Church Street.
The yellow H sign indicates the location of the nearest fire hydrant.
Henry Street leads down to Corporation Street and the corner of the
Theatre Royal.

I guess with two signs you can be sure it really is Henry Street!
I do like seeing these old street signs Gerald... Have you come across any of the old Enamel or Ceramic ones? I think theres still a few about around Hyde... Apethorn lane as one or two... or did have ;O)
I like the old sign better even though it's harder to read.
I love the carved stone sign, but don't throw away the newer one! Maybe this is on the same theme as what's on Andreea's blog today--coming to love the things we once grew tired of.
