Tree at Foxholes

This old tree at Foxholes is up a banking alongside the old railway which is now part of the Trans Pennine Trail. Behind it is a field.

If you are a new visitor and want to know/see more, check out my other posts about the Trans Pennine Trail - there have been 26 so far.

It's interesting to me how old trees get to look so gnarly, just like old men...like me?

I've looked at all your photos on this page, but I keep coming back to this one. I really like the coloring and subject. It has an eerie goodness to it that I find very appealing.

I love your treatment of this. It's almost like a painted bronze casting.

Beautifully done with great composition and a "Connemara" feel to it.

Nice!
