Crown & Cushion

The Crown & Cushion is on Victoria Road, Newton.

Sorry but I'm not a drinker so can't tell you what it is like inside and neither do I know the origin of the name.

This as always been a nice steady pub Gerald
The current landlord and landlady have built custom up over the last year or so and it is one of the pubs in this area that is doing well... long may it do so.

Typically English... soft spot for them myself...

At least this one still seems in business!

Maybe they treated the customer as a crown on a cushion? That is - as royalty?

Has it always been called the Crown and Cushion Tom, I've never heard of it?

A classic pub name. Looks like a nice watering hole!
