This week (and a day) is devoted to a series of photographs of Automasters.
January 3rd 2008 was a crisp, cold, frosty but sunny day and I took a long walk by the River Tame and the Peak Forest Canal taking a lot of photographs with my (then) new camera.
Many from that day have appeared here over the intervening months including my Photo of the Year 2008.
This was taken passing the side of Automasters approaching the Manchester Road Bridge, and appears here as it came out of the camera, unprocessed apart from resizing.

I do like this photo, and I had to go look at your photo of the year. I remember running across it before....I think too late to vote. I just know I thought it and the others were wonderful.
