This contribution to
Skywatch Friday was taken last Saturday before the snows came on Monday.
The little chimney belongs to Hyde Hospital which is no longer actually a hospital although some related services are still based there. Mainly it is a sheltered housing complex.

We heard on our news that England got snow that halted most traffic. Sorry about that. Snow is tricky for driving, especially if you're not used to it.

Those clouds look as if they are thinking about snowing!
I like the rogue wisp of cloud making a breakout. Reminds me of Gary's arty stuff when his has abstract spurt. Sheltered housing from a hospital is at least a logical use compared too most refits.

It looks like a jet airplane just passed by or is that line an actual cloud? Anyway, whichever, it is a nice photograph.
Lovely broken curve of the contrail. And the tree branches seem to be pointing it out.
