Please Pass Wide & Slow
Another picture from the snowy times of a few weeks ago.
This is Mottram Old Road approaching the entrance to Alder School.
Horses, cyclists and cars all use this road and hopefully most drivers heed the notice on the horsewoman's back to Please pass wide and slow.

Wow, what a fantastic photo you captured.
The yellow and pink jackets really stand out! Wonderful image.
Now this is something I will never see in Manila! Cool!
Great riders on horses :)
That was some observation! The lady must be a meticulous person to chose the apt T-shirt... giving the right message,,,, while riding!
That notice is an excellent idea.
Horses are OK - but now Manchester is centre of the cycling universe we get too many kamikaze cyclists on the road.
white horse on the road,
fantastic!
I liked this post. It does remind me of my heyday.
And I well remember the times when horses and buggies plied the roads on gravel and dirt and an old Model-T or a Model-A Ford would fly past leaving a cloud of coughing dust and scaring the horses to death.
People panicked and cussed for the first time since getting out of church late for dinner at the mother-in-laws.
That's a reet good picture!
It looks a busy road for horse riding.
