Mottram Old Road Bend

Today's photograph was taken shortly after noon on Christmas Day 2008.

It shows the bend on Mottram Old Road, the A560 from Yorkshire to Stockport, as it enters Gee Cross.

Tomorrow I will take you round the bend.

You won't need to take me round the bend, Gerald - I'm there already!

I've managed to get this week's snow onto my Ashton under Lyne photo for today!

I always notice the green moss accenting stonework in your photos. Moss doesn't like my town, where the humitidy is not high enough for it.

It is fun to find CDP bloggers taking the pathway theme day photo and expanding it into a tour.
