Will the Royal Mail Get Through?

No, this isn't a post about whether your Christmas cards and presents will arrive on time.

I recently showed you the M67 underpass near Westwood Farm.

Here we see the entrance to it from the North. The two diverging lanes below are quiet cul-de-sacs leading to farms and open countryside. Above, on the motorway itself, is standing traffic queuing for about a mile from the end of the M67 at Hattersley.

Don't worry about the Royal Mail shown here though; this photograph was taken in early October and the traffic will have cleared long ago.

Hi!
That's a lot of traffic!! Is it like that all the time? That's a great Photo! The one of the horse lane is really good. Thanks for following my blog. Have a great weekend!

Traffic jams seem to be everywhere!

I think the postman thinks twice about visiting the Island. The postal service has gone into Christmas meltdown. We have no underpasses here either.

How nice, in a situation like this, to be in the lanes instead of on the highway!

That truck looks a bit big for Pat to drive, and Jess would never be able to look out of the window. Although these days, he's been updated and on the air mail route.
