Demolition of Automasters

A couple of weeks ago I reported that Automasters is Gone.

The bulldozers have moved in and are clearing the site.

For the time being at least, it opens up the area somewhat for walkers on the towpath.

That was the scene about three weeks ago - even that has gone now as can be seen from the photograph I took yesterday and posted on Geograph.

demolition rubble - a sight to worsen one's headache...

5 points for guessing wha was under the tree, now guess the animal for another 5 points!

We're seeing a fair amount of demolition here as well. It's always given me mixed emotions to see those old buildings come down. Even the eyesores - there's always the hope that someone can reuse each and every old structure...

Kiwi has me stumped about guessing!

Eventually all our dailies will look the same, rubble, car parks and skywatch.
