October quiz
It's quiz time again!
Who can tell me what this is? Perhaps even tell me whereabouts it might be?
As usual the quiz is open for a week and there will be small prizes given at my discretion for accuracy and/or wit.

Hyde Park?
I also say Hyde park and looked at the map of the park you posted and suggest one of the bowling greens in the Park.
I just posted a picture of a bandstand complete with band, take a look.
I can't come up with a better guess than lawn bowling green myself. Whether it's the winter or summer green I wouldn't care to guess.
I will disqualify myself on the gorunds of winning the last one. On the other hand readers, I am the pround owner of Hyde goodies and I may just have to come back for more.
I have no idea, but that stretch of lawn invites a barefoot walk!
I think it's a football ground because I think I can see some white markings on it and I don't think bowling greens have them. I could of course be wrong, and I could be hallucinating about the white markings. It could be a ground in a local park, I reckon - or is it where Hyde United play?
This is the last remaining Bowling Green in Hyde. All the others have been turned into play parks for toddlers.
Funnily enough, this is on Bowling Green Street ( off Albert Rd) of all places! Who would have guessed
A putting green. Or your perfectly mainured front lawn!
I don't golf but it looks like a green to me.
I'm not witty and I'm not a good guesser but this is a great and fun idea. I'm looking forward to reading what others have to say and to find out what it is.
Is it the 2008 winner of the Most Professional Tiger Trap?
It's a corner of Old Trafford's brand new cut-price astroturf pitch (ssshhhh - you heard it here first ;) ).
