This was a dry gravel footpath when
Alder High School was built alongside.
In the photograph on that earlier post it can be seen clearly on the left.
This was taken a few weeks ago after several days of heavy rain. The low bright autumn sun reflects the railings across the path and the puddles.

Yes I do like the shadows across the puddles - great effect. i think I might need my gumboots though!!!
Our nature reserve is very much like this, waterlogged at the moment. It does keep the area lush and verdent but a little less rain would do just fine.
