This pond was constructed in the 19th century to feed the
waterwheel that drove the cotton mills at Broadbottom.
Within the Broad Mills Heritage Site, today it is a pleasant respite for ducks.

Looks like a peaceful place to relax and ponder. I wonder are there benches close by.
Pleasant for ducks, as you say, but wonderful for people too. A lovely place.
Wow Gerald! It looks very Peaceful and calm! What a perfect place to sit and read novels all day long while sipping some orange juice.
Hope Everything doing Ok there at Hyde! A typhoon is approaching Philippines Again.

Thats a nice spot for a picnic! The ducks look like they are having a good time.
a beautiful spot...those look to be cattails at the back of the pond...at least that's what we call them here in TN. Our cattails grow in marshy, wetlands and are a rare sighting nowaways.
