Bankfield Hotel
The Bankfield Hotel on Mottram Road has been closed for a few years now.
I really don't know anything about its history.

That 's a great building! It would make a fantastic private residence, or house of ill repute.
If I had the cash I'd buy it
I love this architecture. It's something we don't have. I am tired of watching flat buildings in my neighborhood.
Looks a good solid Victorian house. It was probably originally a private villa, but turned into a hotel during the 1930's or 40's.
A shame that it's empty, as it would be good to live in.
maybe it's going to be turned into apartments or something similar...
I love this building, great style.
I really like this building...and the photo too. Your blog is wonderful...I have enjoyed looking 'round.
