Sam Redfern Green is the site of the annual
Gee Cross Fete.
In the 1860s it was the
Queen Adelaide Reservoir but like others in the area it has long since been drained, covered and grassed over.

I am wondering what the reason for draining it was?
very rural, british looking to me. Same for Rabbit Lane!
Such a beautiful rural scene. Could only be England.
Rural and yes, a very Enlgish country image. Litter free I note too. Idyllic and beautifully captured.
