What season is this?

I took this with my pocket-camera a couple of days ago whilst waiting for a taxi from Morrison's supermarket.

There is snow lying on the nearby hills and more storms coming in.

On the right you can see St. John's Church, Godley; compare the view with this picture from January which also includes the church and the hillside beyond.

Ah but it's cold up north Gerald! ;)

Not like the balmy climes we get down here, it's all short sleeved shirts & linen jackets right now!

This is an interesting shot, Gerald. It reminds me that the weather we have had and have is screwed up most other places in the world too. I wonder how far down the road to climate change we will go before we slip into some other "age" of some kind? Interesting post.

Nice mix of verticle elements. Wishing you blue spring skies and warm breezes soon!

Grey seems to be the colour of the day in the UK.

Still you have mamnged to turn it to your advantage, with another nice subtle photo.

As for climate change, we need to start taking it far more seriously, or else non of us will have anyhting left to photograph.

while you're experiencing storms and spring snow, we're in the middle of an early mini-heatwave...

It seems that spring will come unusually late this year. The landscape looks nice with that bit of snow, but not in spring ;-)
