Under the Roving Bridge

This is the underside of the Manchester Road Roving Canal Bridge.

The pigeon I previously showed you waiting here probably wasn't ready to fly out into the light but return to its perch.

Today's post is our contribution to Broer som Binder [Bridges between]. More details and links to other participents can be found on Runes TX-Blog

I love bridges ... can't think of any in my immediate area though. Nice photo.

Thank you for listing me, I appreciate it!

It is interesting to look at the understructure of bridges of various designs.

Has to be built sturdy to carry people or traffic over it! Very interesting! What does a roving bridge do?

I am not on the blog roll yet but I have an entry. Please come and see!

Nice shot, Gerald. I'm glad that the pigeon has a home!

I never thought of going under a bridge--yet I like the look --you are clever--The sluicegate was very nice too. We have loads of bridges, I will try and find a small safe one (wish me luck)

So funny, so nice, and so different picture of a bridge. Just love it :-)

Nice week to wishes come from Norway.

That was a highly interesting angle to the bridge Theme. One always sees bridges from the top, or the side, but seldom from beneath.

You have to do that to see how it works.

A brigde is much more than just a bridge. And for many more than it was first attended. As you show in your photo. Very nice!
