
This is the entrance to Godley station for Manchester-bound trains, on the corner of Sheffield Road and Mottram Road.
The entrance for Glossop-bound trains is on the other side of the Godley Arches.

Turn your back on the computer for 'five minutes' and look what happens!! Did it miss you? I'm painfully aware of how the sites differ where some are easy to reach and others take forever, I'm not blaming them, it's just me.

They say cleanliness is next to Godleyness - and it does look very clean and tidy.
That's a nice picture, the entrance to an English station, I'd forgotten how unique they look.
I agree with Shoshana. Would be interesting to take a closer look up there.
