Beyond the Barbed Wire

I'm presently on holiday so while I'm away Per Stromsjo from Stockholm is kindly posting a series of photographs taken from the top of Werneth Low.

This is not from the top of the Low but half-way down at a place called Hanging Bank.

Here we are looking West past the Visitor Centre to Hyde Chapel and the City of Manchester in the distance.

It looks so something you'd find in Switzerland :-)
I hear that Devon is having some big waves at the beaches!
