There is snow up there
Passing Diamond Row yesterday morning, I noticed the sky. "There is snow up there", I thought to myself.
Seconds after taking this photograph it was hailstoneing and I hurried home.

You were certainly right there, snow, wow just seen lorries stuck in the white stuff on TV.
Love the shot too.
The tree...is is melting?
I love photos of oncoming storms. Nice photo!
Great shot Gerald. I like the movement of the tree.
You know, I'vevnever experienced hail. My parents and grandparents tell me that it used to hail in Montego Bay all the time when they were younger. Then it just stopped.
I did miss you in the Theme Day event. Your blog was one of the first ones to which I came, wondering what people thought of when they thought of Hyde. After reading the comments in the last post, now I understand why you did not participate! :)
Hmmm. There is hail up there. Nice photo.
That is a nice hometown. The houses looked peaceful and pretty. But not sure about the weather. Stay safe.
I don't know about snow up there, there's snow on the ground here this morning in Staffordshire. I'm so tempted to start a Lichfield City Blog you know. I'll ponder it a while before taking the plunge.
I'd love some snow - now that I don't need to drive to work.
Hi Gerald
I was on Hobson Moor Road this morning at 7 o-clock with the snow blowing in my face..
Then later I took the landrover over to Woodhead and took some pictures.
It is so incongruous to see such bright green with a day when snow can fall. Great contrasts. Hope the hail never damaged anything.
