New China at the Coffee Morning
Many of my readers will be aware that on Saturday mornings we go for tea and toast at the Methodist Church on Crook Street.
One morning a few months back I was tracked down here by a blogfan from Vancouver, Canada who wanted to say hello.
A church member visited a pottery recently and now we have a whole new set of bone china cups from which to drink our tea. It might not be Starbucks but check out these prices!

Guelph Daily Photo, My Photos.
Very pretty china indeed.
Wow, hunted down at breakfast by a colonist :-)
That hasn't happened to me yet - more responsibility - soon I'll have to start being accurate in my posts!
Don't you love it! You can be found by a virtual friend in a real location. The cups are very nice and there is room for tea and Starbucks! :) I just finished my traditional second mug of Starbucks for this morning. :) Have a great week-end.
Hi Gerald,
I enjoyed your picture of the new china today. I am the person who came by
to say hello the other month when I was visiting Hyde.
The funny thing is that it was my brother and his wife who visited the
potteries to purchase the new china. They are members of Central Methodist.
They had told me about it so it was nice to see a picture!!
Keep up the good work.
Best wishes from Vancouver.
This so reminds me of England. Tea in decorated cups. Very nice. I'll have mine with a slice of rich fruit cake please. I miss rich fruit cake. Indian tea, please. Nice one, Gerald.
I will have to call in there one of these days.. Gerald.. keep your eye open for me.
Lovely china! Can't get over the prices, they should put them up a little to raise more money :)
Well at this rate Gerald, you'll have all blog land coming for a cuppa now you have shown their prices ha.
nice shot.
Hi Gerald
I've just given you an award, see it on my blog. I like your blog.
count yourself fortunate to have an Starbucks alternative. England is ever so civilized! (No pun intended although allowed)
lovely bone china-- tres chic.
and I much prefer any little cafe to McStarbucks anyway!
